Design / production of sonic nozzles for highly precise flow rate measurement
These parts are used to measure the flow speeds of gases and liquids with high accuracy. Gases or liquids are run through the sonic nozzle, bringing the speed up to sonic levels once enough quantity flows through. Once this sonic state is reached, critical flow is achieved under set conditions, allowing sonic flow to be retained at set flow rates and providing highly accurate flow-rate measurement.
